The AQUA PURA Process:
- Initial Entry: Wastewater from your home flows into the treatment area of the system.
- Aeration Chamber: Oxygen supplied by the aerator, combined with organic matter in the wastewater, creates an ideal environment for aerobic bacteria growth. These organisms break down and convert waste into gases and additional microbes.
- Reduction of Pathogens: The aeration process results in a lower concentration of pathogenic bacteria.
- Clarification Zone: After sufficient time in the aeration zone, the mixture enters the clarifier. Here, calm conditions enable the separation of microbes, solids, and treated wastewater.
- Recycling of Microbes: Settled microbes are returned to the aeration chamber, where they continue to treat wastewater effectively.
- Final Effluent: The result is a clear and odorless effluent that can be safely discharged according to local health regulations.
